These terms apply when you buy, download or use MoonRay for Blender. By placing an order you agree to them.

Who we are
MoonRay for Blender is a Blender add-on that adds MoonRay as a render engine. It is made by Nocklay Studio ("we", "us"). These terms cover this website, the add-on and its installer. You can reach us at luwizart@gmail.com.
Orders and payment through Paddle
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Paddle runs the checkout, takes the payment, calculates and collects sales tax or VAT, and sends your receipt and invoice. Your purchase is also covered by Paddle's buyer terms.
Pricing
MoonRay for Blender is paid only, and you pay what you want. You choose a tier, then pay its minimum or any amount above it. The checkout shows the final price, including any tax Paddle adds for your country, before you pay.
Tiers
Every tier gets the same full add-on. The tiers describe how you use it and how much you want to support its development, not what the software can do:
- Community: For individual artists who use MoonRay for Blender and want to keep it going.
- Small teams: For studios and small teams who rely on it in their daily work.
- Large teams: For larger teams who want to fund development properly.
Delivery
MoonRay for Blender is a digital download. It is available for Windows now; macOS and Linux versions are in development. Once your payment is confirmed, the installer link appears on the thank you page and is emailed to you. The thank you page offers the download for 24 hours after payment, and the emailed link stays valid for 24 hours after it is sent. If the link expires before you use it, email luwizart@gmail.com with your Paddle receipt and we will send a new one.
Licences
The add-on is licensed under the GPL-3.0-or-later licence. It is built on MoonRay, which DreamWorks Animation released as open source under the Apache 2.0 licence. MoonRay and the other third-party components in the installer remain under their own licences, and nothing in these terms limits the rights those licences give you.
Neither DreamWorks Animation nor the Blender Foundation makes or endorses this add-on. Blender is a trademark of the Blender Foundation.
Refunds
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
No warranty
MoonRay for Blender is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Rendering software can crash or produce results that differ from other renderers. Keep backups of your work, and check that the add-on suits your projects before you rely on it.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost data, lost profits or missed deadlines, that come from using or being unable to use the add-on. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for your order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Your data
How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. The terms that applied when you placed an order continue to apply to that order.
