Who is responsible

Nocklay Studio makes MoonRay for Blender and is responsible for the data described here. Questions or requests about your data go to luwizart@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you buy and download the add-on, we store:

• Your email address, which Paddle passes to us after checkout, so we can send your download link and answer questions about your order.
• Order details: the Paddle order id, the tier you chose, the amount you paid, the tax on it, the currency, the date, and whether the order was refunded.
• Download records: which version you downloaded and when. Download links are stored only as a keyed hash, never the link itself. If we record your IP address with a download, it is also stored only as a keyed hash, so we cannot read it back.

Payment details

Paddle is the Merchant of Record for our orders and runs the checkout. Your card or other payment details, and your billing address, go to Paddle, not to us. We never see or store card numbers. Paddle handles that data under Paddle's privacy policy.

Analytics and cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising scripts in your browser. To see how the store is doing, our server records a few events with PostHog, in its EU region: a purchase (tier, amount and currency), a refund (Paddle order id), and a completed download (version). These events are tied to an internal id, not to your email address.

The Paddle checkout loads only when you choose to pay. It is run by Paddle and may use Paddle's own cookies, which Paddle's privacy policy covers.

How we use it

We use your data to deliver your download, process refunds, keep accounting records and answer your emails. We do not send marketing email, and we do not sell, rent or trade your data.

Who else handles it

These services process data on our behalf to run the store:

• Paddle: checkout, payment, tax, invoices and refunds.
• Resend: sends the email with your download link.
• Cloudflare R2: stores the installer and serves it to you through a short-lived download link.
• Vercel: hosts this website.
• Fly.io: hosts the server that handles orders and downloads.
• Neon: hosts the database that holds the records above.
• PostHog: stores the analytics events described above.

Server logs

Like any website, our hosting providers receive your IP address and browser details when you load a page or download a file, and may keep them in short-term request logs for security and troubleshooting. Our own server logs record only the kind of request and the route it reached, not the full address, so they leave out email addresses, download tokens and your IP address. If a paid order is flagged for review, for example because it is below its price minimum, we log its Paddle order id, tier and amount so we can look into it.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address and order records while we need them to provide your download, handle refunds and meet accounting and tax obligations. Download links expire on their own. When you ask us to delete your data, we delete everything we are not required to keep.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email luwizart@gmail.com from the address you bought with, and we will reply. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

If what we collect or who handles it changes, we will update this page. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
